This is the 15b version of StarDrive.exe decompiled from CIL and almost completely rewritten by BlackBox - Mars. The current release is BlackBox - Mars and upcoming version is BlackBox - Hyperion.

Notice: We have StarDrive developer's publicly and privately stated approval for modifying the game for educational purposes but this software is still under the steam license restrictions. Do not use this for immoral or personal financial gain, donation requests are ok but can not be demanded or required. Do not attempt to circumvent game DRM. Be reasonably respectful of the dev and the original software and steam.

Installation Instructions

• Download The major release (currently Mars 1.51) - below (636mb). The Alpha version is free and there is a public github repo. Any donation given will be used to cover paid 3rd party services we use to maintain this game.
• The second file is the Combined Arms mod (aka CA) which adds a ton of content to the base game.  You can skip it if you are new to the game, as it can be quite overwhelming.
• Do not install this release on your Stardrive Steam folder
• If you have Mars 1.50 installed, please remove it completely and install a fresh copy of this release. After you load the game, make sure to update it to latest patch before installing any mods. An update prompt will appear in the main screen allowing you to click on it and update the game.
• Install the game to a modifiable location such as the default C:/Games/StarDrivePlus. DO NOT INSTALL INTO C:/Program Files/ !!!
• Start the game from Windows Start Menu or from your desktop "StarDrive BlackBox"
• If you get an error about not having XNA 3.1 Redistributable. Download the package here.

• Always include your blackbox.log, which is located at C:/Games/StarDrivePlus/blackbox.log
